Justice Mohammed Madugu of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court issued the directive while ruling on an ex parte application filed by a civil society group, the Incorporated Trustees of Initiative for Promotion of Civic Obligation and Sustainable Peace.

The organisation is seeking an order compelling President Bola Tinubu and the Attorney General of the Federation to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to launch a detailed investigation into the allegations against Ojulari.

The court also ordered that all relevant processes be properly served on the parties involved, and that such service should be deemed valid before the court.

Justice Madugu, after hearing arguments from the applicant’s counsel, Daniel Edeachi, further ordered an accelerated hearing of the matter.

According to the enrolled order dated December 5, 2025, the applicant is alleging that Ojulari is involved in money laundering, operation of foreign bank accounts, failure to declare assets, and other potential financial infractions. The affidavit supporting the motion was sworn to by Ugoh Michael Toochi.

The case has been adjourned until January 19, 2026, for further hearing.
