Egbetokun disclosed this during a meeting with senior police officers in Abuja, explaining that the presidential order empowered him to fully carry out the withdrawal without resistance from any VIP.

According to him, no individual receiving police protection is in a position to challenge the decision, as it emanates directly from the President.

He encouraged police officers to embrace community policing, maintain professionalism, and intensify efforts to prevent criminal activities nationwide.
