According to the Commission, pilgrims from the Borno and Adamawa zones go pay ₦7,579,020.96, down from ₦8,327,125.59 in 2025. Pilgrims from the Northern Zone go pay ₦7,696,769.76, while those from the Southern Zone, which includes Kogi, go pay ₦7,991,141.76, down from ₦8,784,085.59.

NAHCON also set December 5, 2025, as the final payment deadline for all intending pilgrims to complete their registration and guarantee participation in the 2026 Hajj exercise. Pilgrims are advised to pay before the deadline to ensure smooth processing.

The fare reductions follow directives from President Bola Tinubu, who through his Deputy Chief of Staff, Sen. Ibrahim Hadeija, ordered NAHCON to lower the cost of the 2026 Hajj fares.

For more information and payment procedures, pilgrims are encouraged to visit NAHCON’s official website at www.nahcon.gov.ng.

The move is expected to ease financial burdens on Nigerian pilgrims and improve access to one of Islam’s fundamental religious obligations.
