This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by Caroline Embu, the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations.

According to the statement, the extension became necessary due to the “longer than usual time” it was taking some prospective corps members to complete their registration as a result of persistent network issues.

“The management of the National Youth Service Corps has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation. We regret the inconvenience the disruption may have caused and wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues,” the statement read.

Embu added that the registration portal, which was initially scheduled to close on Sunday, November 9, 2025, will now remain open until midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to give affected applicants more time to complete their registration.

The NYSC urged prospective corps members to remain calm and patient while the technical team works to address the connectivity problems and ensure a seamless registration process.

Online registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation had commenced on Tuesday, November 4, and was initially expected to end on Sunday, November 9, for both local and foreign-trained graduates.
