The management of the scheme approved the date on Monday, according to a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations.
Embu explained that the low-key ceremony will begin with Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) activities for corps members at various local government areas across the country. The programme will also feature the signing and issuance of final clearance letters by zonal inspectors to outgoing corps members.
The statement added that the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all participating corps members and monitoring officers success as they complete their national service.
“The DG extends his goodwill and appreciation to all corps members for their service to the nation and wishes them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise,” the statement read.
