Troops from the North East Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, killed nine Boko Haram terrorists during a patrol near Goni Dunari village in Borno State. This operation followed a previous defense against insurgents in Ngamdu town. The troops recovered an AK-47, ammunition, and other items without sustaining losses. Additionally, during patrols along the Gajiram–Bolori axis, they eliminated four more terrorists and rescued two kidnapped victims, retrieving ₦4.355 million ($5 million total recovered). The military continues operations to apply pressure on Boko Haram and maintain security in the region.
