In a statement from the Ooni’s Palace on Wednesday in Ile-Ife, the monarch described the appointments as a testament to the duo’s competence, integrity, and years of selfless service to Nigeria. He expressed confidence that their wealth of experience and commitment to national unity would strengthen the FCC’s mandate of promoting fairness, equity, and inclusivity in the public service structure.
“Omidiran’s distinguished record in legislative service and grassroots development, alongside Eluyemi’s dedication to public administration, leaves no doubt that they will uphold the principles of fairness and national cohesion that the commission stands for,” Oba Ogunwusi said.
The Ooni urged the appointees to view their new roles not only as a call to serve the people of Osun State but also as a sacred responsibility to the entire nation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Omidiran, a former member of the House of Representatives, hails from Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State.
